So I was thinking that while playing Garry's Mod is good and all and it is the main focus of this community and this whole server thingy anyway, I thought that it would be nice to sometimes also play other games as a community.
I've seen some play CS: GO or PUBG and others playing whatever else, but here I thought that people could suggest games that have multiplayer possibilities and what people might have or be able to (easily) get where we could all gather up and have fun.
With that said, allow me to introduce my own suggestions:
Starcraft: Brood War
It's an old RTS ( Real-time Strategy ) game from Blizzard Entertainment. Some of you may know it, some of you may have played it, some of you may know Starcraft II better.
Either way, Starcraft: Brood War is free to play and downloadable from Blizzard's site, and with its updated multiplayer system from its old, old 1998 systems, it's much, much easier to host and play multiplayer games with it and as such, for anyone willing, do feel free to join me in playing it. There's a lot of "custom" and "Arcade" style ( that you may know from Starcraft II ) games to play and it'd be fun to play 'em as a group.
Another suggestion is a game called 100% Orange Juice which essentially is a digital tabletop game with 100% RNG factor. The AI players come across greatly like they're cheating most of the time and this game has also been called "Breaker of Friendships" - but nevermind that.
Check it out. I've enjoyed it plenty despite it being pretty much just luck based on everything you do. Plus I've never really played it multiplayer, so this'd be a good chance.
The one distinctive thing between 100% Orange Juice and Starcraft: Brood War is the fact that 100% OJ costs, whereas Starcraft: Brood War is free. Still, it's something to think about.
That's it for my suggestions.
I don't know if this is the correct category to put this thread in, but I'll make-do with it until I know better.
Also, mind you that the game names writen on larger font are links to both respective games, so click on 'em, so you won't have to take your time to google.
